The Glass Vessel: An International Invitational, features a wide variety of glasswork produced by over 50 artists from around the world, including Lino Tagliapietra, Stephen Rolfe Powell and Dante Marioni.

In addition, the museum presents Rick Beck: Sculpture. Beck is known for his large-scale cast glass sculptures depicting industrial, everyday objects. These exhibitions mark the grand opening of the organization's new 27,000 sq. ft. headquarters.

About The Kentucky Museum of Arts + Design:
The Kentucky Museum of Arts + Design is a nonprofit organization founded in 1981 as the Kentucky Art and Craft Foundation to continue the art and craft heritage of Kentucky through the support and education of craft artists and education of the public. The Museum celebrates more than 20 years of supporting over 400 artists and providing educational programs to over 500,000 school children. The Museum is supported in part by the Fund for the Arts and Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency of the Education, Arts and Humanities Cabinet.
